AAA South Cardinals defeat Northwest Orioles 13-0

Nashua City Tournament baseball continued for the third straight night at Drescher field as the Nashua South Cardinals hosted the Northwest Orioles.  Strong pitching by Cardinals Devin Gates and Adam Robinson held the Orioles to solid hits by Lexis Gayac, Isaac Bates, Nathan Nugent (Double) Chris Baluzzi.  The Cardinals were able to put together a strong offensive performance with 9 runs in the first with solid hits and heads up base running.  Final Cardinals 13 Orioles 0   Pitching for the Cardinals Devin Gates (2 innings), Adam Robinson (2 innings)   Orioles Trey LeGraw (2 innings), Tyler Moraros (1 inning)

AAA South Cardinals defeat West White Sox 14-2

Nashua South Cardinals hosted the Nashua West White Sox Tuesday night at Drescher Field for the first City Championship game.  Strong pitching by Cardinal Adam Robinson held the White Sox at bay in the first two innings striking out 4 and allowing no runs.  Cardinal bats came alive in the first with great hits by Chris Haley (Single & Double), Devin Gates (Double), Ben Lugo, Ben Morin (Double) and an in the park home run by Austin Long.  Score after the first, 10-0 Cards.  The second inning had 4 more Cards scoring on hits by Vince A., Ben M. and Chris H.  Ahbay Ghandi took the mound and along with some great fielding, managed to keep the White Sox to 2 runs (2K's in the top of the fourth).  Final:  Cardinals 14, White Sox 2.  Pitching :  Cardinals:  Adam Robinson 2, Ahbay Ghandi 2.  White Sox:  Zacary Carter 2, Seth Marcano 1, Dante Young 2.  

AAA South Cardinals defeat the NW Braves 12-2

Wednesday night was day 2 of Nashua playoff baseball as the Nashua South Cardinals hosted the Northwest Braves at Drescher field.  Devin Gates pitched 2 solid innings striking out 4 batters while the Cardinals "three amigos" Austin, Adam & Devin were able to account for 3 runs in the first.
