We are the premier Nashua Baseball League affiliated with Babe Ruth Baseball.  This Nashua Sports league was officially chartered to provide children ages 5-12, living in the South Nashua area, with an organization that provides fundamental baseball instruction.

Strength & Conditioning Baseline Testing and Pre-Screening Evaluation

Description:

AB is offering baseline testing and pre-screening evaluations to athletes of ALL AGES who are interested in getting better and staying healthy! Typical cost of a pre-screening evaluation and baseline testing is $200. Cost will be $50.

Athletes, you can’t showcase your skills if you’re injured AND you can’t expect to improve your athletic ability if you don’t know what to work on. Baseline numbers are important for tracking progress as a player develops.

The Pre-Screening aspect of this program is a system that monitors specific movement patterns. An athlete is put through a series of exercises and given a score on how well the exercises are performed. With these basic movements, we can identify movement limitations and develop corrective exercises to address the individual’s limitations and asymmetries. This injury prevention protocol is a tremendous asset to any athlete.

The Baseline Testing aspect of this program will include exercises that focus on lower body power, upper body power, rotational power, speed and agility. Assessment forms will be provided within 1 week of the testing protocol. This will include all baseline numbers, screening evaluation grades and exercises for improvement. Assessment forms will be sent via email in a downloadable PDF form.

Nashua South Calendars

Nashua South Calendar program begins drawing on Opening Day May 5th 2012

Each athlete is responsible for the sale of 15 calendars which allow the purchasing customer to participate in a daily drawing during our season.

Prizes range from different denominations of $25.00 daily drawings and weekends will be Double Header $50.00.

People can win multiple times.

Why Do We Sell Calendars?

Nashua South Cal Ripken Calendar fund raising allows the league to provide safety to our children through the purchase of things like new catcher’s gear this year, new batting helmets, equipment repairs, purchase of speedy dry, lime, and bases etc.

The league will also be posting field improvements on the website and other capital projects that this $ goes towards

Baseball NH Fundraisers such as this and the sale of advertising on our web page and as banners on our fields are instrumental in providing safe, effective places for our kids to learn. In addition to the hundreds of baseballs, hats, and uniform shirts purchased each year for the league to remain current.

Nashua Sports March 16, 2012 Banned Bat Update

Nashua Sports Babe Ruth League, Inc. has been informed that Nike Bat Model #Aero CX2-BTO636 (light grey), CX2-BTO573 (dark grey) and CX2-BTO598 (blue) have failed recent performance standard compliance testing.

Effective immediately and until further notice, Nike Bat Model #Aero CX2-BTO636 (light grey), CX2-BTO573 (dark grey) and CX2-BTO598 (blue), including all graphic variations, is not eligible, or approved, for use in any Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken program or activity.

The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has advised Babe Ruth League, Inc. that the BBCOR decertification process has been implemented for the Marucci CAT5 33-inch model.

Effective immediately and until further notice, this bat (Marucci CAT5 33” length) is not eligible, or approved, for use in any Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken program or activity.
